At the end of 2021, the IC Naming testnet was launched as the first decentralized name service in the IC ecosystem. They are the first to create an .icp TLD. In 2022, the mainnet was officially launched, and on the same day, IC Naming registrations exceeded 5000. To make name services more convenient, they released IC Naming extensions for browsers from very early on.

Users could access the service by installing ICNaming extensions in any browser. ICNaming would like to announce a difficult decision regarding the new version. Their new tld will be ".ic," and they are currently working on the development of the latest version, and believe it's going to be released very soon.
