Interview with the Infernal Vampire Colony- A Bloody Great Project!

We interviewed Mr. Dracula from the Infernal Vampire Colony, who is getting excited about the forthcoming Halloween. His NFT collection will be released to celebrate the spooky occasion!

1. How would you describe your artistic style?

Our artistic style is more character-based, and what we want to stand out is the character itself and the accessories on it. We have this kind of mindset because when we create a metaverse, each of the vampires will represent a person in real life; in this way, people will move from the real world and dive into the metaverse with a virtual character.

Our priority is that the character resembles a charismatic personality with both human and fantastic features. That's why we wanted to move forward with the Vampire character. Some are cool, while various characters seem angry. Some of them are creepy, and they meet the understanding of art we want to establish, both with their physical features and the scary atmosphere in their accessories.

2. What drew you to NFT creation rather than traditional canvas-based art?

As the two co-founders of the Infernal Vampire Colony, we have been involved in blockchain technology for a long time. We have been following the NFT sector in detail since the early days, in case we want to create our collection one day, and we made notes for ourselves to take the proper steps.

Our character designer, on the other hand, is interested in digital character drawing in various projects. Since we want to start with a character that can take place in the digital world, we prefer the NFT creation rather than traditional canvas-based art.

3. Are there any artists who have inspired you? What do you like about their work?

We can say that Stan Lee is one of the artists who inspired us to start this project. He has created hundreds of different characters in the Marvel world so far, and each character's adventures in their own world have always excited us.

Therefore, before starting this project, we put the NFT industry aside and worked on what kind of character we should have and the story of these characters. Our vampires both have a unique physical structure that we designed, and the story behind them will enable us to create our digital world, just like a Marvel metaverse created by Stan Lee.

4. What made you create NFTs?

After completing engineering education as founders of this project, working on a startup has always excited us. We see this project as developing something in blockchain technology rather than just creating assets. That's why it's our greatest passion to advance our business professionally. Our aim here is to create value and turn it into a long-term project. Therefore, our primary goals are to develop a usage area for the NFTs that we created as Gen1 and make more as Gen2.

5. Can you tell us about your project?

There are 6666 Vampire characters imprisoned in a cave by their enemies. Six hundred sixty-six of the Infernal Vampires manage to escape from the cave. The remaining 6000 Vampire characters remain imprisoned in the cave. They will be in the Gen2 collection with the same character outlines but badly injured, with a lot of damage.

We have created our collection as two different generations because we have created our story first. As a result, there will be two other generations in our collection. Gen1 includes 666 Vampires, and Gen2 includes 6000 Vampires. The collection we created based on our story will have a solid foundation for moving to the metaverse.

6. How many NFTs will be minted? Can you talk us through the process of how you create the art?

Our Gen1 collection consists of 666 Vampires, and the minting will take place on Entrepot on November 5th. We will work on our Gen2 collection, which consists of 6000 Vampires after our first launch, but we will tell you how we created our Gen1 collection briefly. First of all, we started working on the main lines of our character and wanted him to have a unique facial structure. Then, we researched the physical and mental characteristics of the vampires and made minor adjustments to reveal a mindset suitable for the characteristics of a real vampire.

They sucked a lot of blood and, according to our story, they lived in a lair for a long time, so we designed their bodies to be very weak and their bones easily visible. We decided on most of the accessories with this in mind, as they were historically known as evil and scary characters.

7. Will Your NFT be able to breed or ever be in a game?

We are creating a Metaverse where holders can interact with each other rather than a 2D or 3D game in mind. This may still be a game, but rather than a visual world, we plan to establish a system where people will both enjoy playing and be rewarded as they play. As we mentioned before, we want to create a world for holders, not just an NFT collection.

8. What benefits do you think the Internet Computer has over other L1 blockchains when it comes to creating NFTs?

We think that the concept of the metaverse will integrate more into our lives in the upcoming period due to the investments made by large companies and the interest in NFTs. We are also aware that NFTs give people a social status, as we can see from Twitter.

Thanks to the Canisters working at Web Speed, a new invention on the Internet Computer ecosystem, it will be straightforward to understand whether the NFTs shared on social media accounts are original. This will also have a significant impact on NFT sharing on social media.

At the same time, since transactions on the Internet Computer ecosystem occur at Web-Speed, people will be able to immerse themselves in that world entirely without dealing with wallet and transaction work when the metaverse is ultimately a part of our lives.

9. What other art have you seen that excites you in the Internet Computer NFT ecosystem?

NFTs in the Internet Computer ecosystem produce assets in accordance with the purpose of DFINITY's founding and have the technological background added behind the scenes. Projects set out for this purpose excite us.

ICPSquad has one of the most beautiful artworks among ICP NFTs, and they are working on a metaverse with the Engage To Earn game structure. At the same time, they have great social media and website which is Dfinity Community, and are aware of how important the community is in this sector, which is an indication that we are trying to be a part of the right ecosystem.

ICPunks has excellent artwork and is trying to find solutions to the gas fee problems in ETH by creating a bridge between the ETH and the ICP network. We look forward to the bridge structure they will start to build with Infinity Frogs.

10. What excites you most about the your launch?

We are most excited about being officially a part of the Dfinity Community after the launch is complete. We're also excited that people will be making our vampires profile pictures on their social media after launch. We are excited that such supports will come along with us on this long journey.

Consequently, we will have a valuable community rather than just having a collection. Always doing our best for this community and creating an environment for people to share something with other people in this world motivates us.

11. What advice would you give to anyone trying to enter into the world of NFTs?

I would recommend those who enter the world of NFTs to have a collection or make money by buying and selling successful projects to research the project's background. Artwork is an entirely personal thing; whether you like an NFT or not, this criterion will make up your collection. If you're here to make money, be sure to take a good look at what the project plans to do after launch.

If you're entering the world of NFT to build a collection, I recommend you do far more than simply minting NFTs. There are many factors, such as creating great structure before starting the project, bringing together a passionate team about this business, dealing with the community, and planning events that will attract people's attention. And most importantly, to be satisfied with the NFT collection you have created.

The idea that came to mind came to everyone's mind. But "It's not about ideas. It's about making ideas happen." (Scott Belsky).

12. Do you have further plans to work with ICP Squad in the future after this initial sale?

We think the Internet Computer is a great ecosystem for NFTs and metaverses. The Internet Computer has been trying to bring about a major technological revolution since the discovery of the internet. For other people who are not yet aware of this situation and where the hype is higher, the collaboration of teams in the Internet Computer world is essential to attract people to this community.

We are excited to work with ICPSquad, which has a solid roadmap and background. That's why we have plans to work together for a long time and much more to come. Keep your eyes open!

13. Can you envisage a future where the most valuable NFT space is on the Internet Computer?

We can easily say YES to this question because all of the NFT projects in the Internet Computer add something to the blockchain technology in the background. At the same time, with DFINITY's plan to launch Bitcoin Smart Contracts on the Internet Computer, the industry's interest will quickly shift to the Internet Computer.

Creating such a structure in Bitcoin, which does not have a smart contract structure of its own, but is nonetheless the dominant coin of the market, enables us to have Bitcoin wallets in the future and to accumulate NFT collections thanks to making Bitcoin usable in De-Fi and Web 3.0, this will easily carry Internet Computer to the top in the NFT sector.

14. Why do you think NFTs have become so valuable in such a short space of time?

If we look at the Renaissance, a rebirth occurred in the cultural, artistic, political, and economic realms. Today, the most well-known painters are always the people who created works in Renaissance. This impressive period, which has a place in history, was immersed with art, literature, and science. We can say that there is such a network effect in the NFT sector because “history repeats itself.”

Also, this is why NFT technology, which emerged with the combination of blockchain technology and art, is valuable in such a short time—at the same time, considering that one of the most critical factors that makes something valuable in the world is its limited number. Therefore, It is not surprising that NFT has attracted such hype in a short time.

15. Tell us about your team?

We started the project as four people. For now, our team consists of 6 people. Three people are involved in software and development. (Website design, development of NFT collection in a software environment, etc.). Two people are involved in the design of NFTs. (Creating characters and designing accessories). One person is dealing with social media. (Discord, Twitter).

Since the team was first formed, we have been interested in the NFT sector and Internet Computer, and we are moving forward with this passion. Since we had a great deal of blockchain and NFT experience before starting the project, we aimed to develop our work professionally, thanks to our prior knowledge.

16. What advantages do you believe you have over other competitors?

This was the first question we asked ourselves as a team before starting this project. How will we differ from others? After giving a clear answer to this question, we set out. We have examined other NFT projects in the market for a long time; we have drawn the crucial points in the successful NFT projects and discussed why some of the NFT projects were unsuccessful.

We are constantly thinking about what we can learn. We are trying to use our social media accounts professionally and make our Discord and Website simple and effective. At the same time, we are working on activities and NFTs usage areas. The fact that it is our priority to the comfort of the user under all circumstances and trying to make our project looks professional from every perspective puts us one step ahead of the projects that see the NFT sector as a short-term gain.

17. Tell us about your partners?

We partnered up with Entrepot for minting and the marketplace. We have also partnered with communities such as ICPSquad, ICPunks, and ICDrip. As we have said before, we aim to add value to the world of ICP by attracting more people to it by increasing our collaborations. We are very excited about more partnerships in the future.
